1. Certified “Energy Auditor” by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt. of India.

2. Thirteen patent applications. Nine of these are in Renewable Energy area. Three patent applications in year 07-08.

3. Received many prestigious awards including ‘Renewable Energy Award 05’ for 2005, in individual/end user category, from MEDA (Govt. of Maharashtra),  ‘Engineering Achievement Award’ for 2005, by Institute of Engineers, Nasik Center, Recipient of energy award ( 3^rd ), in project category, from Institute of Engineers, Pune, 2004. Recipient of awards of Rs. 3000/- and Rs. 3100/- for technical papers at national level by “Indo-German energy programme”, for topics related to energy conservation and efficiency.

4. Developed a community parabolic solar cooker of 2.3 m dia.  The product was used in ‘World’s solar cooking project using dish cookers’, involving 300 such community cookers.

5. Eighteen research papers/technical articles were published/presented in different journals, seminars & conferences. Six in international and remaining in national level events.  Presented two papers at an international conference in Kathmandu, during last year.

6. Conducted few workshops for entrepreneurship in renewable energy.

7. Availed training for ‘Scheffler Solar Concentrators’ for 8 days from ‘Wolfgang Scheffler’, the German inventor, who holds accreditation for world’s largest solar steam cooking system.

8. Chief faculty for many training programmes and workshops conducted by different engineering Institutions through ISTE, Board of technical examination and Universities.

9. Involved in many T.V./Radia/Magazine interviews for development and promotion of RE.

10. Developed an energy park at personal farm, Chandak Farm. My house is fossil free, running on solar cooker and biogas.

11. Expert-evaluator for reputed govt. and other organisations like TePP (Deptt. of science and technology, Govt. of India), National Innovative Foundation, Ahmedabad etc. in energy efficiency and renewable energy area. TePP, has appointed as “Technology Angel”.

12. Department of Science and Technology sponsored a project on multistage distillation and dryer based on solar concentrator during last year. The project is in progress.

13. Availed training for Waste Minimisation Circle, through National Productivity Council.
